Sponsor a Knight for the 2021-2022 School Year
St Jude the Apostle School has been nurturing and educating students since 1953. We provide an authentic Catholic Education, where all of God's children are welcomed. One of our goals as an educational institution is to make our school accessible to as many families as possible. One way we maintain an affordable tuition is through the support and generosity of people like you. 

In a new effort to keep our tuition rates at an accessible level, we are now seeking student sponsorships. Our student sponsorship program is designed to pair a sponsor with one of our school students. Sponsors will receive a letter from their student, as well as school updates, and invitations to school events that are open to the community. 

What to expect with your sponsorship

  • Student Messages -  You will receive periodic updates and messages from the student you will be paired with.
  • School Updates - You will be added to our News and Notes mailing list so that you will be in the know of everything happening at SJS!
  • School Events - Be invited as special guest to attend school events open to the public. 

How your sponsorship helps

  • Tuition Assistance -  Your sponsorship goes directly toward a students tuition. The cost to educate a student at St Jude the Apostle is approximately $7,000.00 per year. The typical family pays, on average- $5,000.00/student in tuition. The additional $2,000.00 in cost is typically made up through fund raising efforts conducted by the school and support from St Jude the Apostle Parish. 
  • Bottom Line Impact - Your sponsorship will have a direct impact on the schools bottom line, and will help close the gap between what it cost to educate a student vs. what we receive in tuition income. This helps us to be a stronger more vibrant community and provide more to our students and families.
  • A Brighter Future - Your sponsorship will aid in our efforts of making our school accessible to as many families as possible. We desire to educate as many students as we can. We believe the education we provide to our young people will ensure a brighter future. St Jude the Apostle is dedicated to helping students grow in virtue and moral character all while strengthen their relationship with Christ. We provide the Education of Tomorrow, Rooted in Catholic Tradition where Nurturing and Educating the Whole Person is Our Goal.

Who You'll Help
St. Jude the Apostle School of Wynantskill, New York is an educational ministry of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. In the spirit of Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, we are committed to teaching children Christian values in a caring, nurturing environment within our Pre-K through Grade Six elementary school. Our student body is comprised of children from throughout the Capital District, coming from a variety of backgrounds. 

All proceeds from our Student Sponsorship Program will go directly toward the education of a child.
